Singapore Economic Review Conference

In celebration of the 50th year of publication of the Singapore Economic Review journal, an international conference attracting more than 200 presentations was held at the Singapore Pan Pacific Hotel from 4-6 August 2005.

Twenty other internationally distinguished speakers, such as Peter Robinson (London School of Economics), Ronald McKinnon (Stanford University), Karl Shell (Cornell University), and Lim Chong Yah (Albert Winsemius Chair Professor of Economics, Nanyang Technological University), delivered papers on topics ranging from international economics to current trends in China, India and emerging markets.
