World Scientific establishes new office in Tianjin, China
In collaboration with the Chern Institute of Mathematics (CIM) at Nankai
University (NU), World Scientific (WS) set up a new branch office in
Tianjin,China on 8 April 2008. Due to its strategic location, this new
office would enable WS to expand its mathematics publishing program in
northeast China. Since 2001, WS has worked with CIM to publish 3 book
series in mathematics, the most successful being the Nankai Tracts in
Mathematics.
Founded in 1985, CIM is now a premier research institution in pure and
applied mathematics. NU is a key multidisciplinary and research-oriented
university and its mathematics, history, business and economics programs
are among the best in China.
