Congratulatory Messages from
Nobel Laureates for World Scientific's 30th Anniversary
Congratulations! I well remember my misgivings when you told me about your ideas of establishing a publishing company in Singapore 30 years ago. Since that time all your friends in physics have watched with amazement the rapid growth of your company, fulfilling your early insight and vision.
I promise to write another congratulation message when World Scientific is 40 years old.

I am very happy to address my warmest congratulations to World Scientific on its 30th Anniversary. I am very much impressed by the development of this publishing company during such a short period of time. In my field, which is physics, I particularly appreciate the collections of selected reprints with commentaries of several physicists (that gives access to original papers which are not easy to find), the series of Nobel lectures, the topical books on modern developments which present a comprehensive overview of the evolution of a research field and the proceedings of conferences which appear a short time after the meetings.
The quality of the books, the professionalism of the editors in finding authors and disseminating of the books all over the world at competitive and reasonable prices are very high. I particularly appreciate the efforts made to provide special discounts for developing nations. I am sure that World Scientific will continue to serve efficiently the international scientific community by providing easy access to the most important achievements of Science.

I take this opportunity to congratulate you on this special event of the 30th Anniversary of World Scientific Publishing.
Over the years, I have personally enjoyed the professional interactions with you and your staff, and in every case I was impressed by the care and promptness. This was evident in the three books we have published with World Scientific.
I wish you continued success for many years to come.
