  Singapore
 
Jerilee Aw joined World Scientific as a Business Development Executive in September 2001. She holds a BBA in Marketing (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University (2001). She helps to develop business for World Scientific Printers and Stallion Press, as well as handles the promotion of social science publications.

Chen Fan Hin joined our Singapore office in February 2001 as a Marketing Executive. He holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Luton, UK (1999). He is responsible for promoting mathematical titles, producing marketing materials and participating in conferences and exhibitions.

Cheong Chean Chian joined our Singapore office in October 2001 as an Editor. She holds a BA in Chinese Studies (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an MA in Applied Translation from the University of Leeds, UK (1998). She is in charge of Asia-Pacific Biotech News and Life Sciences projects, as well as does some translation work.

Chew Mun Kit joined our Singapore office in February 2001 as a Marketing Executive. He holds a BBA (Marketing) from the National University of Singapore (2000). He is in charge of the marketing of Computer Science and Engineering books and journals.

Patrick Chua joined our Singapore office as an Administrative/ Information Officer in November 2001. He holds a BBA from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK (1999). He provides administrative support for both the Chairman’s office and the Editorial Department, handles reprint copyrights and permissions, as well as manages the projects database and journal submission websites.

Wah Wah Hlaing joined World Scientific as an Advertising Sales Executive. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the Temasek Polytechnic (1999). She sources for advertisements in Asia-Pacific Biotech News and Innovation. She also handles the promotion and marketing of these two magazines. She will be completing a BBA (Marketing) course with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology soon.

Yunisa Kusuma joined our Singapore office in July 2001 as an Editor. She holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from the National University of Singapore. She is in charge of several mjournals as well as medical titles. She will be getting an MBA from the University of Newcastle soon.

David Loo joined our Singapore office in March 2001 as an Editor. He obtained his BSc in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore in 2000. He is responsible for the coordination of Arts and Social Sciences and Life Sciences projects.

Genevieve Ng joined our Singapore office as an Internet Marketing Executive in April 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the Curtin University of Technology (2001). She maintains the various websites.

Roger Pay joined World Scientific in July 2001 as an Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the Australian National University (1992). He is in charge of company accounts, including cash flow management, monthly accounts reporting and consolidation of accounts.

Ye Qiang joined our Singapore office in May 2001 as a Scientific Editor. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from Nankai University (1993), an MSc in Mathematical Physics, also from Nankai University (1996), and an MSc (1998) and PhD (2001) in Mathematics, both from the National University of Singapore. He is responsible for our Mathematics publications.

Ian Seldrup joined our Singapore office in July 2001 as an Editor. He received his BSc in Astrophysics from Sheffield University, UK in 1995 and his MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Linguistics from Edinburgh University, Scotland a year later. He is responsible for the coordination of Computer Science, Physics and Astronomy projects.

Wendy Toh joined our Singapore office as an Administrative Officer in December 2001. She holds a BA in Chinese Studies (Hons) from the National University of Singapore. She handles administrative work for the Marketing Department and the marketing of Chinese publications.
 

  US
 
Tenya Pierce joined our US office as a Sales Administrator in July 2001. She holds an Associated Degree in Applied Science from the Bergen Community College of Paramus, USA (1996). She is in charge of all sales matters relating to the US market . She also handles various aspects of accounting.
 
  Imperial College Press
 
Laurent Chaminade was appointed Manager of Imperial College Press in 2001. He holds an MA in French Literature from Oxford University, UK (1991) and is in charge of commissioning books in Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Katherine Williams joined Imperial College Press in 2001 as a Commissioning Editor. She holds a BSc from the University of Wales (1995) and an MSc from the University of Glasgow (2000). She is in charge of commissioning books in Medicine and Life Sciences.
